Our MissionWhite Water Learning Center of Georgia's mission is to provide opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to learn river paddling skills in a safe and structured environment with the top professional whitewater instructors in Georgia at a reasonable cost. We are dedicated to meeting the individual needs of students, promoting river safety, and increasing environmental awareness.
Company ProfileWhite Water Learning Center of Georgia was started as a part-time endeavor in 1995 by Bruce Williams, a veteran canoeist and kayak instructor, in response to the growing popularity of whitewater paddle sports. The enthusiastic reception to the kayak instruction program the first year led him to leave the corporate world and make WWLC his main focus. Since 1996, the program has expanded to include canoe instruction, a summer kayaking day camp for kids, guided river trips and American Canoe Association kayak instructor certification workshops. White Water Learning Center now has a fleet of over 80 kayaks, two dozen canoes and a half-dozen or so active ACA-certified instructors.
