Participants in courses taught by instructors who are insured under the American Canoeing Association's instructor liability insurance policy are required to sign a waiver and release of liability, acknowledging and assuming the risks of paddlesports activities and releasing instructors from liability for any damages or injuries they might suffer. Parents of minors under age 18 must also agree to these conditions. Please read and understand the provisions of the adult or minor agreement before you register for a course. Print and sign the form and give it to your instructor before the course. Instructors who are covered by general commercial liability insurance will furnish you with similar forms to sign.
